Moscow in Smoke...
I just came back from Kiev, Ukraine. I left Moscow and the air was clear but hot. Now I come back and the air is smoke filled and even hotter…
They say that the peat fires are raging every where around Moscow and you can tell that is correct by the smoke that has covered all of Moscow with a hazy layer of smell…
Svet (my wife) was telling me that her mother remembers a time like this before and that this is a reoccurring factor about every 40 to 50 years. I may be use to heat like this, being from the Midwest of America but these people are not use to it and many elderly are suffering and dying from the heat…
So now Moscow is trapped not by just heat but by a bubble of smoke that burns the eyes and affects the lungs…
